A pocket-sized compact guidebook featuring nightscapes. This book is
certified as the official guidebook by the group specialized in nightscapes in
Japan. The Yakei Kentei is a certification exam to judge if the person can
recognize nightscapes in Japan. It is recognized as one of the most unique
exams in Japan and the exam is held in December for Level 2 and 3, and
in February for Level 1. This guidebook collects and provides information
about all 160 nightscapes in Japan which are designated as the Japan
Nightscape Heritage. Each page introduces about the nightscape in detail
and provides access information. The book will be useful as a trip planner.
