A black and white photo book collection featuring about 220 photographs of Osaka between
right after World War 2 and the mid-50s. The photos capture the energetic life of people in
the harsh circumstances that existed just after the war. Eventually, Osaka hosted the World
Expo in 1970. This book is a record of how people moved forward with vigor and hope.
